Our Sunny Skies Birthdays for OCTOBER

Ollie R. will be 1 on October 4th.

Catherin E. will be 3 on October 9th.

We LOVE birthday parties. You are welcome

to send in birthday treats on your child's special day!

Fall is here! Due to the fact that the children play outside twice a day, please dress them appropriately for the weather. Because of staffing reasons, we cannot exclude any child from outdoor play, so your cooperation is very much appreciated.

Life Touch Photography will be here on Friday, October 6th at 7:30 a.m. We will begin with the infants and end with the Pre-K room.

Midland Fundraiser begins Monday, October 9th and ends Friday, October 20th. Please help raise money for fun fall activities, new equipment and special events.

We will be having a Parent Breakfast on Wednesday, October 10th. Please join your child from 6:30-8:30 a.m. for cider and donuts.

A reminder to all parents: about our late fee policy. Tuition is due on the first day that your child is here each week. If payment is not received on that day then a $15 late fee will be added to your weekly charge. This must be paid before your child will be allowed to stay at the center. No exceptions. Some parents find it more convenient to pay in advance for the month, or bi-weekly. Please feel free to do this if it is easier for you.

We will be having a Harvest Party and Halloween celebration on Friday, October 27th

at 4 p.m. We will have family games, activities and cider and donuts will be served. Please bring your child’s costume to change them into when you arrive at the center for the celebration. Children will pick a pumpkin out from our “Pumpkin Patch”. The celebration will end at 5:30p.m.

On Tuesday, October 31st we will have a pizza party for lunch. Cost is $5.

NO COSTUMES PLEASE. Dress your child in black and orange.

Please remember to update your child’s clothes in their boxes for the cooler weather. LABEL all clothing, coats, gloves, lunch boxes etc. this way we are certain to return them properly.

Parents, if your child is sent home because of being sick (example: rash or conjunctivitis) a Dr.’s note is needed for readmission to the center, what was diagnosed and when your child can return. To be on the safe side whenever you take your child to the doctor for an illness always ask for a Dr.’s note. This will make our job and yours much easier on deciding when a child is well enough to return. Thank you.

As a reminder: We do not do end of the year totals, please keep your receipts!!

                                  Have a very spooooooooky Halloween!!!
